The Wychwood Magazine (“we” or “us”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. 

This policy (together with our terms of use and any other documents referred to in it) sets out the manner in which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand the practices regarding your personal data and how we treat it.

Please note that we monitor statistics about our users, such as geographical location and website performance, to provide a better experience for you.

Full Name, email address, private address and subscription payments

Filling in forms on our site, corresponding with us by email and corresponding with us by telephone. The information you give us may include the information in paragraph 1 above.

We will record online subscription information from our online subscription provider (currently Stripe) including payment details. We will not record any information from any other source.

5 Uses made of the information we hold:

To provide you with information and the service that you request from us, to ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer, to monitor and manage online subscriptions, to ensure we have your preferences as to how you would like to be contacted and improve services to you. 

6 Marketing 

We do not currently engage in direct marketing activities with our subscribers and we do not sell or provide your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. 

7 Disclosure of your information

7.1 Subscriber data. We hold names, private and email addresses of our subscribers; securely maintained electronically by our Distribution and Subscriptions Manager. This is made available as follows: for local deliveries:each of our volunteer distributors/deliverers is provided with a list of subscribers related to their area only. For postal deliveries, our Postal Manager is provided with the full list of postal subscribers. Any personal data communicated to us via email, a form on our site or hard copy, will only be used in connection with the subject of the communication. 

7.2 Where we store your personal data. All the information you provide to us is securely stored electronically on our local computer systems and is backed up by secure cloud service. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site including email. Once we have received your information, we will use reasonable steps as required by law including administrative, technical and physical measures to secure personal data and to try and prevent unauthorised access. 

8 Your rights

8.1 Right to correct any mistakes in your information: you can require us to correct any mistakes in your information which we hold, free of charge. If you would like to do this email or write to us (see contact below). Please include your full name and address, what information is incorrect and how it should be replaced. 

8.2 Right to request a copy of your information: you can request a copy of your information which we hold (thisis known as a subject access request). If you would like a copy please email or write to us (see contact below) 

8.3 Right to request removal of information: you can request that we remove all of your information we hold. This will take effect at the end of the current subscription period. Please email or write to us (see contact below).

Our site may from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks and advertisers.  Ifyou follow a link to any of these sites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before submitting any personal data to these websites.
