Oct/Nov 2013 Beatrice Kathleen Cooper 1920 - 2013 Kath was born in Milton and worked locally in service. During the war she did a ‘man’s job’. Tom and Kath retired to a bungalow in Shipton Road. Oct/Nov 2013 Happy 90th Birthday to Mrs White Win White celebrates 90 years. She and Frank had moved to Shipton in the 1950s and she became Clerk to Shipton Parish Council. Oct/Nov 2013 Cynthia Oliver 1929 - 2012 Alan Oliver 1927 - 2013 Cynthia and Alan met over the garden fence in Shipton and eventually settled in The Old Bakehouse. Both were heavily involved in the local community.
