Shipton-under-Wychwood Wild Garden and Woods, a company limited by guarantee, has been formed to acquire and manage the Wild Garden, working in close co-operation with Shipton Parish Council.
The Aims of the Company are set out in its Memorandum and Articles to provide Public Access to the Wild Garden, to maintain, conserve and restore the garden and woods and to provide educational resources.
We are currently applying for charitable status which we hope to gain early in 2010. Look at our statement of public benefit to see more about our plans for the future.
Membership of the company is open to all who subscribe £20 or more per year. As a member you are able to take part in the affairs of the company, elect directors, stand as a director and assist with framing major items of policy .
