A digital platform that allows customers to shop online from local independent food retailers has launched in Chipping Norton and surrounding villages. The Local Trove is an online service that allows people to shop from home (or work, or the park, or anywhere else) and have a single delivery to the door. Launching with suppliers including Chadlington Quality Foods, Hook Norton Butchers and Bruern Farm, there is a wide selection of produce from the infamous Mark’s Sourdough to Old Hooky sausages and over forty types of cheese!
Trove has been launched by Tor Ayres and Flic Holbrook to support the local retailers and help people gain better access to good quality food.
“We know people want to know where their food is coming from and to support their local economy, and we see Trove as a solution to that.”
The Trove van will be on the road delivering around Chipping Norton and West Oxfordshire Tuesday to Friday. For more information or to shop with Trove visit www.thelocaltrove.com.
