Time for a fresh start

This is the ideal time of year to be considering the possibility of taking on an allotment; the growing season is largely over, the weeds are starting to die down and anybody interested in having an allotment has all autumn and winter to prepare the plot. With such a length of time, a really thorough job can be made. It can be a long job if the plot is overgrown but time is there aplenty. If you are interested in acquiring a plot, and there is nothing more satisfying than growing your own fruit and vegetables, Milton plots can be had by contacting Julie Hemming (hemmingjulie@hotmail.com) while for Shipton plots, contact Jill Mavin (jillmavin@shiptonunderwychwood.org)
