  • Following the recent Scarecrow Trail, the editor was delighted to receive the following tribute to the people of Milton: “I have only lived in Milton for just under three years but it is the friendliest place I have ever been to and the community spirit is alive and well – long may that continue.  What an amazing day and a wonderful place to live.”

West Oxfordshire Wheelchair Dance (WOWD)

  • WOWD, run by Lizzie Large, won the Club of the Year award at the annual West Oxfordshire Sports’ Awards.  Lizzie was jubilant: “This is a wonderful surprise and recognizes that we are all about what people can do, not what they can’t do.”
Following on from this success the team were recently awarded 5 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals at an event for participants from across the country.
