It just takes an hour

Wychwood Day Centre is a lifeline for elderly residents; for some it is the only time out of the house all week. These people are taken to the New Beaconsfield Hall on a Thursday morning and collected from there in mid-afternoon. In between times, the visitors are pampered with drinks, cake and a two course lunch; they love it.

The Day Centre needs extra drivers to transport these residents, and it need only take one hour per month; how many home-based drivers in the Wychwoods cannot spare that time? Of course, drivers can volunteer for more than one Thursday per month but just one would be hugely appreciated. If you think you could help with this, or if you would be happy to cook food on an occasional basis for the visitors, I would love to hear from you.
Thank you for considering this.
