Here comes the long awaited Pantomime – oh yes it does!

The Wychwood Players are pleased to announce this year’s pantomime, Peter Panto, devised by Peter Webster.

All the usual panto fun, the free sweets and the frolics will be on show with the evil Captain Hook being chased by the Hungry Crocodile, who is tick-tocking his way through the woods. See our sweet little ‘alternative’ Tinkerbell giving it attitude! Peter and the lost boys are on the case hunting down Captain Hook and the Pirates. Nanna and Mr & Mrs Darling sit forlornly looking out of the bedroom window waiting for Wendy, John and Michael to return home; but will they?

We are welcoming some exciting and talented new faces to the cast including many of the Wychwood Saplings and other local children. Rehearsals are already well underway so you may just hear a few songs and witness a few dance steps as they go home at night.

The director has been very creative with the set and the amazing costumes have been designed and made by some of the players, making it a colourful and bright Panto for every age, ensuring that we will be bringing our own little bit of fairy dust to the Wychwoods in November.

Performances will be at 7.30 p.m. from Thursday 23rd November 2017 to Saturday 25th November with a matinee at 2.00 p.m. on the Saturday at The New Beaconsfield Hall, Shipton-under-Wychwood.

The box office opens on 1st November. Tickets are £10 and for the Saturday matinee and £5 for children aged under 16.
